The monitoring system consists of a camera (10) linked to an image processor which detects and memorises the position of marks on the front waste portion (Df) of a cardboard sheet (F). The front waste portion is separated from the sheet before it passes through the optical field of the camera and is removed by a separate conveyor (8). The installation incorporates a marker for the front end waste portion in its cutting station (2) to align it with the cutting tool. |
