PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a mail by converting it into a format in accordance with the transmitter of the mail by extracting transmitter's information and the mail format from the received mail and storing both while maintaining their correspondence. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 has a RAM 13 for storing a computer program and data, a ROM 14 for storing a basic program and basic data, a display 15 for displaying a mail, a message and the like, a key board 16 for inputting characters, an instruction command and the like, an external storage device 17 for storing the program and the data, a modem 18 for performing communication with other devices by way of a communication line, and a timer 19 for counting a time connected to itself. The CPU 11 controls a mail transmission/ reception device 1 as a whole on the basis of the program and the data stored in the RAM 13 or the ROM 14. The RAM 13 stores the program and the data to operate the CPU 11. |
