A mechanism in which a plunger (5) is moved toward a combustion chamber (3) by a hydraulic pressure or by a thrust with a cam (11') until a piston is moved to the upper dead center of an internal combustion engine, to receive the supply of a fuel in a high-pressure generating cylinder (6) for the plunger and store the fuel therein, said plunger (5) being released from the hydraulic pressure or a thrust with the cam (11') before the piston reaches the upper dead center, to move the plunger (5) in the opposite direction by the pressure from the combustion chamber (3) and inject at the same time the fuel stored in the high-pressure generating cylinder (6) into the combustion chamber (3). |
