PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone system where a desired registered telephone number is easily retrieved and dialed without displaying every registered telephone number and it is easily discriminated who is a caller at the arrival of an incoming call. SOLUTION: In the case of registering telephone numbers, an entry section 2 is used to enter a group name such as a group A, a sub group name such as a group A (1), and to enter common points of the group A (1) such as name (1)+telephone number (l), name(2)+telephone number (2), name(3)+telephone number (3),... to a storage section 3. In the case of calling a registered telephone number, the entry section 2 is used to select the group A being the group and the group A (1) being the sub group and to scroll telephone numbers registered in the group A (1) and to select the desired telephone number. Thus, the desired telephone number is retrieved by retrieving the group name even when the telephone number itself is not known. |
