PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency power amplifier circuit and a high frequency power amplifying module which can be stably operated and miniaturized while suppressing the generation of distortion. SOLUTION: An input side preceding step circuit and the gate of an FET 31 are matched by an input side matching circuit 32 having such an output side impedance/frequency characteristics as the output side impedance of an amplification object signal frequency shows almost the same value as the gate input impedance of the FET 31 and the output side impedance shows a value lower than the double gate input impedance of the FET 31 over the frequency range from the amplification object frequency to its double frequency at least.
