<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a transformer to be smaller and thinner as well as highly efficient for cost reduction, in a high-voltage transformer used for a car discharge lamp lighting device, etc. SOLUTION: A primary coil 3 is, a copper plate, molded into a single body on the inside surface of an outer case 2, whose appearance is a rectangular parallelepiped with one side opened, and a square-pole core 8 is inserted in it, while a bobbin 7 wound with a secondary coil 4 is provided. Resin which is an insulating agent is filled in the outer case 2 from the open side, and the terminal of each coil is taken outside of the filled surface, and the terminal taking-out position is aligned with a solder surface of a printed board 9 for a transformer dropped into the hole of the printed board 9, for screw fixing of the outer case 2.</p> |
