<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate hooking/unhooking a chain coil to/from a messenger wire by providing a rod for supporting an elongating/contracting continuous spiral chain coil and a rotary driving means therefor and providing the supporting rod with a part for locking the end of the chain coil. SOLUTION: A locking hole 1b is provided, as a stopping part of a chain coil C, at the rear end 1a of a supporting rod 1 and the end of the chain coil C is inserted unto the hole 1b and locked in place. The supporting rod 1 is then arranged in the vicinity of a messenger wire W substantially in parallel therewith and the forward end the chain coil C is hooked to the messenger wire W by 1-2 turn. Subsequently, the supporting rod 1 is turned about the axis thereof by turning the handle of a rotary drive means to feed out the chain coil C gradually such that the messenger wire W is wound inward of spiral thus hooking the chain coil C to the messenger wire W.</p> |
