The moving support (22) for the upper pressing die (28) has a vent channel (41) in its frame (39). Its section is square or rectangular. One of its edges has longitudinal slots (44) for aspiration of paint, air and particles. Extraction takes place through a nozzle section (45) and duct (42). This equipment is used in combination with an automated paint applicator. Preferred features: The robotic painting unit for the upper die has a driven paint application head on an extending arm with terminal mounting carrying nozzles. The head paints with a first pass using the fine nozzle for the edges of the upper die, followed by a second pass. Each nozzle is connected to more than one paint reservoir, using corresponding solenoid valves.
