PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable printing an excellently precise image with a small size, at a low cost. SOLUTION: This developing device for developing a latent image formed on the latent image carrier, is constituted of a developing roll 401 supported in freely rotationally, transporting the developer mixed with carriers and toner for developing the latent image in the developing area, a controlling member controlling the thickness of the developer on the developing roll surface, a casing part forming the toner chamber in which the toner is contained, a transporting member transporting the toner of the toner chamber 406 with respect to the developing roll 401, a parting member 403 separating the toner chamber 406 and the developing roll 401, and moreover provided with a path for the toner from the toner chamber 406 allowed to pass through with respect to the developing roll 401, and the developer uniformalizing part 50 disposed on the upstream side of the path, with regard to the rotary direction of the developing roll 401, for uniformalizing the height of the developer on the surface of the developing roll allowed to pass through the developing area, in the width direction of the developing roll. In such a manner, the respective height of the napping of magnetic carriers in the carrier chamber is uniformalized. |
