PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower contact resistance in a surface which makes contact with an electrode part. SOLUTION: In this separator for a solid polymer type fuel cell, surface roughness in a surface contacting with an electrode part is Ra=0.1 μm-10 μm, in terms of the value measured by a surface roughness tester having 5 μm of probe tip diameter. In a manufacturing method of the separator, a separator molding for the solid polymer type fuel cell is immersed into an acidic solution to make the surface roughness in the surface contacting with the electrode come within a range of Ra=0.1 μm-10 μm, in terms of the value measured by the surface roughness tester with has 5 μm for probe tip diameter. |
