AN ARRANGEMENT FOR BATCH GASIFICATION LIQUID

An arrangement for batch gasification of liquid in a pressure container. The container (5) comprises an upper part which includes a container filling opening and a lower part which includes a liquid dispensing opening, this latter opening being provided with an openable dispensing valve (24), and a pressure equalizing valve (22). The pressure equalizing valve (22) also functions as a safety valve and includes a valve body (27) having a sealing head (28) which is pressed against a valve seat by a spring (29). The sealing head is actuated by the pressure in the container (5) and opens the valve (22) against the action of the spring (29) when a preset pressure is reached in the container. A dispensing valve manoeuvering device (23) is connected to the valve body (27) of the pressure equalizing valve such that the pressure equalizing valve will be opened forcibly upon actuation of the manoeuvering device (23) for opening the dispensing valve (24), regardless of the pressure in the container (5).
