PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform automatic gain control at the time of amplifying received spread spectrum-modulated signals at a high speed. SOLUTION: An AGC control part 8 controls the gain of a VGA(variable gain amplifier) 3 based on the power of received signals computed in a power computing part 9 in the initial stage of receiving spread spectrum-modulated signals, and controls the gain of the VGA 3 based on the signal level of correlation peak signals detected by a correlation level detection part 10 after received power is stabilized to a certain degree by the control. |
