<p>The invention concerns a device for incremental measurement of displacement and position of two objects relatively mobile in translation, comprising a ruler (1) connected to one of the objects and consisting of a metal tape including a scale formed by a longitudinal series of cut-outs (4). The ruler slides in a housing provided with high frequency transmitters (6) on one side of the ruler and high frequency transmitters (7) on the other surface. When the ruler (13) moves along, the receivers supply measurement signals by the alternation of the cut-outs (4) which open the high frequency field on the receivers (7) then by the interposition of the metal intervals which protect them from the high frequency field.</p> |
