The invention relates to a transport and storage stack (1) for objects (2, 2', 2'') used in laboratories and intermeshed and stacked on top of each other in several layers. The transport and storage stack (1) consists of a base part (3), superposable supports (4) for the objects (2, 2', 2'') and a cover (5). The supports (4) present a plate-like element (6) having locating openings (7) positioned in accordance with the grid pattern of the objects (2, 2', 2'') and able to receive the objects (2, 2', 2''), as well as edges (8) bent outwards on one side. When the supports (4) are placed on top of each other the objects (2, 2', 2'') intermesh with each other in such a way that each object (2) is supported by the object (2', 2'') situated beneath it. The transport and storage stack provides sufficient stability while using as little material as possible since the dimensions of, and the amount of material used for, the edges (8) and the supports (4) are designed such that their only function is to ensure the grid pattern arrangement and lateral closure. An additional support is provided for the lowest layer of objects (2'') and at least one means (10) is used to ensure keep the components (3, 4, 5) of the stack (1) together. |
