PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an automatic recording function in the case of call incoming even in the state of not performing prescribed setting to a telephone set with automatic recording function by storing any arbitrary ID, detecting the sub address of an incoming call, judging the coincidence/no coincidence with the ID and activating a prescribed function corresponding to the ID when the coincidence is judged. SOLUTION: A memory 35 stores a voice message, ID (personal identification information), call origination/termination history information and telephone directory information or the like. The ID is information to be arbitrarily registered as initial setting from a keyboard 32 by a user and is compared with an incoming address. When an incoming calling signal. is detected, a CPU 31 detects incoming address information in call setting information, judges whether the signal is coincident with the ID in the memory 35 or not and when it is judged that there is the coincident ID, the prescribed function specified by the coincident ID is activated. Namely, in the case of coincidence, an automatic response signal is sent out without sounding a ringer speaker 37, and the recording function is immediately activated.
