PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely regulate movement in the thrust direction and reduce consumption current, by forming a part protruding from an outer peripheral surface, in a part of the outer peripheral surface of a bearing holding means, spreading adhesive agent on an inner diameter surface of a base positioned on the inner diameter side of a stator core, and forcibly inserting the bearing holding means. SOLUTION: For light forcible insertion at the time of fitting to a cylinder part 11a of a base 11, the height H of protruding parts and the number of the parts are set to be the optimum values. Since a disk for magnetic recording is mounted on a flange part 1a of a hub 1, its height direction position has a part of a base 1 as the reference surface and needs a tolerance of about±0.05 mm. Generally, after adhesive agent is spread on the inner surface of the cylindrical part 11a of the base 11, a bearing housing 3 is inserted and loaded in a thermostatic chamber together with a jig until curing. The height direction position can be maintained also by loading the hub in the thermostatic chamber after it is removed from the jig, after the height direction position of the hub 1 is set and it is held with a light forcible insertion force on account of existence of the protruding part 3c.
