IMPLEMENTING SERVICES OF AN INTELLIGENT NETWORK BY USING A DATA NETWORK

With an intelligent service offered by an intelligent network (HTN), messages are interactively exchanged between a subscriber (TNR) of a telephone system (TKS) and a peripheral unit (FIP), said subscriber being entitled to the use of at least the intelligent service. In addition to the intelligent network (HTN), the telephone system (TKS) comprises at least one telephone network (FTN) which is coupled to the intelligent network (HTN). Information relevant to the intelligent service is exchanged between the peripheral unit (FIP) and the service control nodes (CSE) via a connection produced in a data network (IPN) established for exchanging digital information.
