Between the material inlet and outlet the housing is divided into one or more short segments (14,16) with additional passages for feeding solid additives and allowing gas escape and long segments (15,17), the length (B) of the latter being less than their external dimension (A). Preferred Features: The length (B) of the long segments (15,17) is 3-7 times the shaft bore diameter and the lengths (C,D) of the short segments (14,16) 1-3 times the same diameter. At least one short segment has a passage with a diameter greater than the shaft bore diameter. The length of the short segment with the large passage is equal to or greater than the length of the other short segments.
