<p>A clock (1000) having at least a function of measuring the time and a function of measuring an arbitrary elapsed time, wherein when a predetermined time has elapsed after a hand position was temporarily stopped during measurement of the arbitrary elapsed time, the temporary stop is released, and the hand is moved to the hand position indicating the elapsed time. The temporary stop time can be shortened by automatically releasing, when a predetermined time has elapsed, the state where the hand is temporarily stopped, thereby reducing the power consumed to move the hand to the real hand position when the temporary stop is released.</p> |
