<p>For a gyrocompass having a capsule, mounted so as to float in a gas-tight fashion, for at least one electrically driven gyro, it is provided in accordance with the invention to produce the capsule from two mutually adapted shells (1,2) which are sealed with respect to one another and consist of a high-strength, corrosion-resistant material which is, however, a good electric conductor, particularly from a steel alloy or titanium alloy or from a high-strength conducting plastic material. The particular advantage of the invention consists in avoiding electrically insulated bushings on the bottom and edge sides, and in substantially simplifying the configuaration of an equatorial azimuthal tap (E).</p> |
