An elaborately designed down quilt having top patterns formed on a front side cloth and well harmonized with partition recesses between small sectional spaces, comprising the front side cloth (1A) on the front side of which hexagonal patterns approximately matching all the partition lines between many hexagonal small sectional spaces (5) continuously formed by bonding together in a surface direction and top patterns (MP) disposed in the centers of these hexagonal patterns are printed, partition cloth pieces (2) disposed matching all the partition lines between the small sectional spaces with their widthwise edges joined to the front side cloth (1A) and a rear side cloth (1b) and down (6) properly filled in each small sectional space (5).
