发明名称 ELECTRODE RAW MATERIAL FOR HIGH POLYMER ELECTROLYTE BATTERY AND MANUFACTURE OF THE SAME
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure required mechanical strength while increasing the impregnated quantity of a nonaqueous electrolyte by containing an active material- containing layer, having specific air permeability and with nonaqueous electrolyte impregnated in an electrode raw material. SOLUTION: An electrode raw material, e.g. a positive electrode raw material, has a structure such that a positive electrode layer which is not impregnated with nonaqueous electrolyte is carried on a porous current collector. The positive electrode layer contains an active material and a binder and has air permeability of 10-100 as specified in accordance with JIS P8187. The positive electrode active material, the binder, a plasticizer and as required a conductive material are kneaded under the pressure of a volatile organic solvent to prepare a paste, the paste is formed into a film and dried by decompression or in the wet atmosphere to obtain a positive electrode sheet. The positive electrode sheet is stuck to both faces of the porous current collector by thermocompression bonding to obtain the positive electrode raw material. The air permeability of the positive electrode sheet can be made small, by increasing the evaporating speed of the volatile organic solvent, after the paste has been formed into a film.
