The invention relates to a method for representing moving objects in bitmap format on a matrixed display device using the following steps. A plurality of bitmaps are calculated in advance for a determined number of different object representations along a predetermined trajectory curve. The plurality of the bitmaps are stored in advance. A representation processing is carried out with a display sequence of object representations along the trajectory curve by reading and displaying corresponding stored bitmaps.
