<p>A casket handle (10) and removable lug (20), or escutcheon plate (22), combination frees the lug (20) from a fixed connection to the casket wall in common with the connections of the handle (10). The lug (20) instead is mounted separately upon the casket (18), employing spring-urged detents (40) engageable with the lug (20) to hold the lug (20) in assembled relation with the handle (12) and the casket (18).</p> |
