Device for deodorizing air

Air is purified by passing it into an air stream containing ozone and ions produced by corona discharge. Air purification device comprises: (a) a stream channel section having a trumpet-like element (3) with an opening on the lower side and a cylindrical element (4) connected to the opening, a titanium dioxide is vacuum deposited on the surface of the channel section; (b) a needle electrode (1) arranged before the trumpet-like element near to an axis of it; (c) an annular electrode (2) formed on the channel section; and (d) a high voltage production unit (6) through which a high voltage is applied between the needle electrode and the annular electrode to induce a corona discharge.
