发明名称 ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER AND ITS PRODUCTION
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of a toner having a desired grain size by subjecting toner mother particles pulverized to a desired grain size or below to a surface reforming treatment and classifying the particles to a prescribed grain size distribution. SOLUTION: A binder resin, coloring agents, and other desired additives are mixed, kneaded, pulverized and classified to obtain the particles having the desired grain size. These particles are then subjected to an instantaneous heat treatment. The grain size is 4 to 10μm, more preferably 5 to 9μm. The shape of the toner particles obtd. by the kneading-pulverizing method is controlled to a spherical and uniform shape and further the pores possessed on the surface are decreased and the smoothness may be enhanced by subjecting the particles to the instantaneous heat treatment. The control of the instantaneous heat treatment is facilitated by using a pulverizing apparatus capable of forming the particles to be pulverized to the spherical shape in the pulverizing stage. The control of circularity, etc., is facilitate by using a classifying apparatus capable of forming the particles to be treated to the spherical shape in the classifying stage.</p>
