The booklet is produced from a sheet which is folded along fold lines and cut until the booklet size is obtained. Before folding, strips of adhesive (4,5) are applied to the one free surface of the sheet (1) or folded stack, along lines covered after the folding directly following by an unfolded section of sheet, and after the folding process has ended along the spine of the booklet. The sheet is folded over along a first and second fold line (2,3).
