Separating device esp. for tooth brushes

The device has separating slides (2) and parallel stationary wall sections (3). Slides or wall sections carry a stop element (8), which defines an angled support (6) for the brushes (7) on the discharge side during a slide movement, and forms a side stop for brushes on the support. When the slide is in take-up/hand-over position, the stop element opens the discharge point. The stop element is formed by one or more bands (12). Each band is fastened with one end to slide or wall section, passes along the back (5) of the neighboring slide/wall section to its upper end, and over a deflection pulley (9).
