Heat for gelation of the polyvinyl chloride(PVC) is not supplied by a preheated component, but is produced from an external source, preferably a laser. Preferred Features: The PVC is applied by airless spraying over the entire surface or at selected points. A coating may also be applied by an in-mold coating method in which a negative cavity is coated in the PVC and a core formed inside it by filling with foam or by thermoforming a sheet of polyethylene or ethylene vinyl acetate foaming inside. PVC can be applied as a single or multi-color, preferably in one operation using several nozzles.
