The invention relates to a transport beam transporting device for the sequenced transport of work pieces between successive processing stations used in series fabrication. The inventive device is constructed as a double-spar lifting shuttle with a driven mass compensation system. A plurality of modules are provided which are distanced from one another in the direction of transport and which are each comprised of two supporting trestles having vertical carriages. Said supporting trestles are uniformly constructed in a laterally reversed manner and are arranged opposite the middle of the device. Spar supports which extend along the entire transporting length are provided on the supporting trestles such that they can be vertically displaced. On the upper side of the spar supports (11), spars (10) can be displaced in a horizontal direction of transport on H guiding rails via H guiding carriages (36). Component holding fixtures (40) are arranged on the upper side of the spars, whereby the H guiding carriages are each closely arranged next to one another such that a bending of the spars is prevented. In addition, a mass compensation is provided by connecting the V carriage (20) provided on the supporting trestle (3) to a counterweight (15) in the supporting trestle via toothed belts (16) and a driven reversing wheel (21). |
