The present invention relates to a locomotion device that enables a person to travel on different types of road or earth surfaces either walking or running. This device includes a platform with coupled front and rear wheels, wherein said platform is arranged between the bearing points of the wheels having a rolling surface. The device also includes a braking system. The semi-axes of the front wheel are connected at one end to the platform on the side opposite to the profile of the user's metatarsus, while the semi-axes of the rear wheels are connected to said platform on the side opposite to the profile of the user's heel. The distance between the semi-axes of the wheels is 5 to 10 % shorter than the length of the user's foot. In another embodiment, the device includes the same structural members and is characterised in that the semi-axes of the front and rear wheel are inclined relative to the horizontal axis of said device.
