A modular system for building a door or window drive comprises several elements, preferably designed as modules, which can be combined depending on concrete circumstances to build different drive configurations or types, in particular: guide rail, roller device with rollers, electric driving and controlling mechanisms. In this modular system, the elements of a slide door drive can be used, preferably a drive with a very low overall height. Special drives, such as curved sliding door drives, telescopic door drives, space-saving swivelling door drives and carrousel door drives can be built with the same elements. The essential characteristic properties of the system, such as the low overall height, can be implemented in all these types of drive, yielding a family of products with similar features. Special individual configurations can also be produced. |
