<p>The present invention relates to compositions suitable for topical application to mammalian skin for reducing, retarding or eliminating hair growth which comprise: a) an effective amount of one or more chelating agents and/or cosmetically and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; and b) one or more cosmetically and/or pharmaceutically acceptable topical carriers. The present invention further relates to methods for reducing, retarding or eliminating mammalian hair growth which comprise administering to the skin of a mammal in need of treatment to reduce, retard or eliminate hair growth the compositions of the present invention.</p> |
