According to the proposal, pasta is pre-cooked, mixed with a separating emulsion, heat treated and allowed to cool. It is then packaged, with the sauce or in a separate compartment of the packaging 'tray'. Other compartments of the package 'tray' are filled with sauce, meat, etc. as required. The tray is sterilised, packaged and deep-frozen. Alternatively the heat treated pasta is transferred into glass jars or other type of containers, followed by the sauce or other ingredients and processed in the usual manner. |
