The specifically shaped bathing tub (2) and shower tray (1) combination can be used for taking a shower when the shower tray (1) is secured in a horizontal position. When the user has sat down on a step forming the transitional area between tub (2) and tray (1), the device can be slowly rotated around a horizontal axle (3) until the device can be used as a bathing tub (2). Before the process can be reversed the tub (2) has to be drained through the outlets (5) which work in both positions.
