The roller shaping device works on sheet strips (4). It includes at least one roller set (1) which has a roller (3) with at least one ridge (9) projecting from the rotary-symmetrical part of the roll. Another roller (2) of the set has a corresponding recess (10) to engage with the ridge. Variations on this theme can be used to produce various cross sections of roller and rollers.
