FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: threaded rollers are mounted in body of unit in two cages of special construction which are located in threaded joints with half-nuts and screw. Each cage is locked in axial direction by means of spring and compensator rings; it is made in form of two rings; each ring has inner taper surface, balls and control mechanical intended for taking up clearances between taper surfaces of rings, balls and necks of threaded rollers. Parts of control mechanism are received by holes made in rings of cage. Diameter of circle on which centers of balls are located is more than diameter of circle on which axes of necks of threaded rollers are located. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to replacement of sliding friction between neck of threaded roller and cage by rolling friction; compensation for error in manufacture of rollers due to self-setting of balls; enhanced reliability and durability due to availability of clearances in cage after assembly. 5 dwg
