An articulated omnibus has the frames of the front (1) and rear (2) parts connected by a joint (10) which enables one part to swing relative to the other part about a vertical axis. This joint is covered by a platform (6) to permit passengers to walk from one part of the vehicle to the other part. The space between the front (1) and rear (2) parts is enclosed in a concertina like housing (3). The side walls of this housing (3) extend below the level of the platform (6), so that its width is not reduced by the turned in lower parts of the housing (3). USE - Articulated omnibuses.
