Self-commutating thyristor regulator for rotary electrical machine - uses pairs of thyristors coupled in antiparallel to each network and each motor phase
摘要
The thyristor regulaor allows a multi-phase network voltage to be converted into a voltage with a different number of phases and a different frequency. The number of employed thyristors corresponds to double the product of the 2 phases arranged in pairs galvanically coupled in anti-parallel to each network phase and each motor phase. During the phase overlays provided by the commutation only live or three of the thyristors are simultaneously supplied with current in dependence on the network synchronisation angle and the motor synchronisation obtained from respective tables. ADVANTAGE - Improved motor rotation. Allows simple control to switch through mains voltage to user when the rated frequency and voltage are obtained. Rectifier can be bridged by protector.
