The liquid inclination sensor with an electrical output signal has a container (1) contg. liquid (3) and gas (2) separated from electrodes (5-7) by a dielectric wall (4). The electrodes are mounted on the separating wall so that the vol. of liquid found within the electrical field line region varies with inclination angle. The electrodes are connected to a differential impedance measurement circuit (11) which measures the resistive and capacitive resistances of the variable liquid vol. and produces an electrical inclination output signal (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for detecting small and very small inclinations without electrical contact between liquid and measurement electrodes.
