FIELD: transport engineering; convertible cycles. SUBSTANCE: proposed cycle can be converted into bicycle and back into tricycle. Convertible cycle has frame and front axle. Rear wheels, drive and saddle are secured on frame. Front axle has two turnable fork supports with forks and wheels. One of wheels is coupled with handlebar. Second wheel turns around vertical axle of fork. Front axle is detachably connected with frame making it possible to replace axle. Similar detachable joint connects one of fork supports with front axle. This fork support can be installed instead of axle. EFFECT: facilitated adaptability of cycle to different road conditions. 4 dwg |
