FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed gear can be used to determine distances from it to wall or ceiling of room or to object located inside or outside room. It includes radiator made of semiconductor source, modulator electrically coupled to it, collimator optically coupled to it, radiation detector incorporating photodetector, signal processing circuit electrically coupled to it and collecting lens optically coupled to it, control unit electrically coupled to modulator and signal processing circuit. Optical element is placed between photodetector and collecting lens and optically coupled to them to enlarge range of measured distances. It directs portion of received optical radiation on to sensitive area of photodetector. EFFECT: enlarged range of measured distances, decreased minimal measured distance with keeping of value of maximal measured distance. 1 cl, 2 dwg |
