The two glazing panels (13, 14) are mounted in a peripheral frame (12) formed by two uprights (17) supporting the outer panel (13) and secured to a pair of cross-pieces (18) supporting the inner panel (14). A door (10), especially for an oven used to prepare food, comprises two transparent or translucent panels mounted in a peripheral frame (12) secured to the sides of the oven by hinges. The two panels run parallel to each other and are spaced apart to form a gap (15) in between that communicates with the surrounding atmosphere, such that a flow of air passes through it by heat convection. The oven door frame is formed by two uprights supporting the outer panel and secured to a pair of cross-pieces supporting the inner panel.
