PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic cell used for purifying tritium water in a fusion furnace and a tritium water purifying system using the electrolytic cell. SOLUTION: The electrolytic cell 11 is composed of the first element 12-1 and the second element 12-2 connected in electrically series, and constituted so that methane is electrolyzed at the first element 12-1 located on the upstream side of a gas stream to be electrolyzed and steam is electrolyzed at the second element 12-2 located on the downstream side thereof. |
