METHOD AND DEVICE TO SEPARATE WASHINGS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable washings to be efficiently and securely separated and griped by carrying individual washing through a gap by a carrying means. SOLUTION: Piled up washings 10 are supplied from a supplying conveyor to a conveyor 14 and a guided by a hopper part 13 to be carried to the end area 16. Then, a gripper 24 is descended along a movement axis line 22 by a pressure actuating cylinder 19 to grip the washings 10. After that, a pressure actuating cylinder 19 is withdrawn to drow out a part of the piled up washings 10. The gripper 23 is ascended to a position of lower side of a cross beam 17 of a support frame 17 to bring the washing 10 into a suspended condition. Then, a ratary conveyor is deriven to rotate and the suspended washing 10 is passed through between the conveyor 25 and a press roller 26 to separate single washing 11 and residual is dropped. The single washing 11 is discharged to a discharging conveyor 33. Thus single washing can be separated.
