PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleability and to improve a printing speed by laminating a lower crystalline copolymer polyester layer than a base material film on one side surface of a polyester base material film, and laminating a layer for receiving an ink melted by a heat or a sublimable dye. SOLUTION: As a polyester base material, a polyethylene terephthalate film or a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate film is most preferable from points of a mechanical strength, dimensional stability and heat resistance. A laminate constitution of providing a lower crystalline copolymer polyester layer than the base material film is formed between the polyester film and an ink or dye receiving layer to obtain the thermal transfer image receiving sheet having an excellent curl preventiveness, image clarity, heat resistance and the like. Accordingly, at the time of printing out, handleability can be improved without curl, a printing speed can be improved, and a clear image can be obtained. |
