RECORDING MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a recording material with an ink receptive layer provided with not only the image sharpness but also superior water resistance to be used for the image formation using aqueous ink and provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: 60.0-99.9 wt.% water-absorption polyurethane urea and 0.1-40.0 wt.% dimethyl polysiloxane modified acrylic resin are contained at least on one face of a base. Then a coating material containing water-absorption polyurethane urea and dimethyl polysiloxane modified acrylic resin is applied at least on one face of a recording material with an ink receptive layer having micro- voids formed on its surface and at least on one face of the base, and dried thereon at 50-150 deg.C.
