PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silicon steel sheet capable of obtaining a silicon steel sheet low in residual magnetic flux density while maintaining the conventional advantages by forming an Si concn. gradient in the sheet thickness direction by a siliconizing method using a chemical vapor deposition method. SOLUTION: Siliconizing treatment is executed by a chemical vapor deposition method in a nonoxidizing atmosphere contg. Si, then, diffusing treatment is executed in a nonoxidizing atmosphere contg. no Si compds., this diffusing treatment is ended while there is an Si concn. gradient, and the average Si concn. in the steel sheet is regulated to <=7 wt.%, and the Si concn. difference in the sheet thickness direction is regulated to >=0.3 wt.% to obtain a silicon steel sheet low in residual magnetic flux density. |
