<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe bender wherein a bender guide is freely attached/ detached to/from its pipe bender body and also the guide can not be released without a detaching operation, resulting in improved safety. SOLUTION: In a pipe bender constituted of a body 20 having a handle 22 and a fixed shoe 23 with a recessed groove 26 formed circular-arcuately, of a movable shoe 29 with a recessed groove 32 corresponding to that of the fixed shoe 23, and of a handle 28 fixed to the movable shoe 29; an attaching/detaching mechanism consists of a shaft 25 installed in the body 20 and of a lever 30 installed in the bender guide 21, wherein the shaft 25 is provided with a flange on one end pressed with a spring in the direction drawn into the body 20, while the lever 30 is formed with a notch 31 with which the shaft 25 is engaged and also formed with a recess to which the flange 34 is fitted, and an inclined face 43 is formed at the entrance of the notch 31.</p> |
