PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass fiber woven cloth for highly processable laminated plate having excellent laser processability such as punching or cutting without losing the strength by treating the glass fiber woven cloth with an alkaline aqueous solution of a specific alkoxysilane. SOLUTION: This glass fiber woven cloth for highly laser processable laminated plate is obtained by subjecting a glass fiber woven cloth to a heat cleaning treatment or a washing treatment, dipping into alkoxysilanes expressed by R<1> n Si(OR<2> )4-n [R<1> is a non-hydrolyzable group as a 1-2C alkyl, (meth)acroyloxy or an epoxy-substituted 1-20C alkyl, a 6-20C aryl or a 7-20C aralkyl; R<2> is a 1-6C alkyl; (n) is 0 or an integer of 1-3], e.g. tetraalkoxysikane, preferably an alkaline aqueous solution of tetramethoxysilane having 0.1-5.0 wt.% concentration and heat-drying at a temp. of 110-200 deg.C for >=5 min. |
